For this genre I decided to make a newsletter. I felt that with the research I found I could transform it into something that would be more fun and interesting to read for an audience, especially if it were something to be displayed on a bulletin board. Looing at the above models I was able to get some good ideas of how I should use the proper colors and set-up of the page. Not every newsletter is the same, as you can tell from the second example that I found, this newsletter is actually in black and white, I think when the newsletter is in color it draws more attention to the viewers. I also like how these models provided the audience with photos. I think that these photos also help to tell the story. The headings for different sections of the newsletter also stand out using bold text as well as having the text in another color, this is important because it helps to tell the audience exactly the points you are trying to make. The alignment and spacing also plays a role in these models which I felt was a good idea because the readers need to be able to see the text in an organized manner without it being scattered.
